1.  Procrastination : As the old saying goes, procrastination is the thief of time, always start doing and don't plan your activities forever, the more you start, the more good ideas come in.

2. Avoid Being  Persimistic : Always think positive, plan ahead with positivity, always strive to be the best, most times we don't realise that our thoughts contribute heavily to our actions, so do not allow negative thoughts to kick into your brain, think clean, generate good ideas and excel.

3. Being lazy : One of the easiest way to be unsuccessful is to be lazy, laziness is probably the worst thing that can ever be experienced by a man or a woman, avoid being lazy at all cost, and always have something to do. How do you detect a lazy person ? The easiest way to know if someone is lazy is if the person always complains that he's bored, and he's always tired etc. There are a lot ways to be successful but laziness opposes all of them greatly, so don't be lazy always have something to do.

4.  Indiscipline : Discipline is one of the steps that can be considered an easy way or path to success, it helps you in both competitions, and it allows you you to push your self further,  always try to discipline yourself in other to be successful, some practices that might help you gain discipline, are waking up early, abstaining from distractions etc. A quote from Mike tyson goes like this "Discipline is the art of doing what you hate to do but doing it like you love it" so discipline yourself if you want to be successful in life.

5. Not organising your life : The only reason it seems like you don't have time is because you don't have a timetable, a timetable helps you plan your life properly and develop routines so you don't run out of time, and you should constantly chase your goals with new strategies.

With all this been said, you need to understand that life is a competition,  let's say there're 10 billion people on our planet and if you ask them all if the want to be successful the will say yes, so in other words you're competiting with ten billion people,  you don't have to be over ambitious just take life slowly with different strategies.
